Wheely top bike advice

COOLANGATTA police have helped students conduct safety checks of their bicycles.

Constable Matt Siddall and Senior Constable Emma Nicholson were at the Currumbin State School to show students where serial numbers were recorded on their bikes.

This helps police to identify and match stolen bikes.

Police also explained that doubling up on a bike, drinking on a bike and leading an animal alongside a bike was illegal.

More information sessions will be held at Coolangatta next year.
