TODAY:

Easing SSE swell ranging from 3 to 4ft across northern NSW south facing beaches, settling to 2 to 3ft+ later. Wrapping at 2 to 3ft exposed southern Qld coasts, grading smaller inside the bays and along the points. WIND: Early light West to SW land-breezes, tending light and variable, then N to NE up to 10 to 15 knots later.

TOMORROW:

Fading SSE swell up to 2 to 3ft northern NSW exposed coasts, smaller during the afternoon. Wrapping at a slow 2ft or so across exposed Qld breaks and smaller along the points and inside the bays. WIND: Early NW to NNW 10 to 15 knots, tending Northerly 20 to 25 knots in the afternoon.

MONDAY:

Background S and SE swells up to 2ft northern NSW exposed breaks. New S swell picks up to 2 to 3ft southern exposures in the afternoon. Mixing with slight NE windswell at 1 to 2ft exposed Qld beaches and smaller again inside the points and

bays. WIND: Model divergence. Early WNW to NW 10 to 15 knots, tending North ahead of a Southerly change 15 to 20 knots mid to late morning, then turning SE to ESE and easing in the afternoon.

TUESDAY:

SSE swell up to 2 to 3ft northern NSW exposed coasts, potentiall­y reinforced by new S swell picking up during the afternoon. Wrapping at a slow 1ft+ or so across exposed Qld breaks and smaller along the points and inside the bays. WIND: Early light and variable tending ESE 10 to 15 knots in the afternoon.

WEDNESDAY:

Potential for solid S swell up to 3 to 4ft northern NSW coasts early, easing later. Wrapping at 1 to 2ft into exposed southern Qld beaches, grading smaller inside the points and bays. WIND: Light WSW to SW turning SE/ ESE and freshening during the afternoon.
