RACE 6 – CLASS 2 (1100m)

Ditmas has won his two race starts by a combined total of 9.8 lengths. He will jump straight to the front and his rivals will have a tough assignment running him down.

Conspicuou­s returned to the races with a narrow win at Beaudesert and this is his pet distance. Luna Missile had excuses when he was beaten at the Gold Coast last start. Rioli will drop back in class after a credible effort at Doomben.

RACE 8 – CLASS 1 (1300m)

Go Dixie will return to the races for the first time since he finished third in the Sunshine Coast Guineas earlier this year. That is pretty strong form for a race of this quality. Baby Back

Shak has joined the stable of Chris Munce after starting his career with Team Hawkes in Sydney. He has genuine ability.

All Gifts wasn’t beaten far at the Gold Coast last start.

Jackpot Jay comes out of the same race but the step up in trip is a genuine question mark.

RACE 7 – BM75 (1800m)

Benico’s Prince was outclassed last start at Doomben but won well at the Sunshine Coast the start before that. This is the right level for him. Mishani Phoenix is capable of a high-rating performanc­e on his day. Happy

Go Plucky maps to get the run of the race and should be in the finish. Twilighter was never able to get into the race last start but her win before that was outstandin­g.

RACE 9 – CLASS 1 (1300m)

Tatcee found the line nicely at Ipswich first-up. She will need a long way back from the wide barrier draw but she does have a nice turn of foot. Serious

Doubts is a better mare than her record suggests and she maps to get the run of the race.

Gypsy’s Tip claimed a maiden race win at the Gold Coast last start and still has upside. Miss

Powder Keg was never able to get into the race at the Sunshine Coast last start and is worthy of another chance.
