Robert is impressed as mobile firm restores the vehicle shine

-

WHEN bumps, scratches and dings on the bumper of Robert Knight’s 1999 BMW 4WD started to bring down the appearance of his car, he decided it was time to have it fixed.

“The bumper was a bit grubby; I thought I’d bring it up to date,” he said.

Mr Knight phoned BumperTech, who sent a representative around to mend and restore the vehicle’s bumper.

The speed of the service and the quality of the work greatly impressed Mr Knight.

“He arrived at 12.30pm and was gone at 2pm,” Mr Knight said.

“They did a wonderful job; it looks like it’s brand new.”

BumperTech owner John Cowan said his customers saved money on minor paint and collision repairs by having the work done in their driveway or garage.

Established in the 1990s, the mobile service moved from Sydney to the Gold Coast in early 2000 and now, due to growing popular demand, is expanding into the Northern Rivers region.

“Free no-obligation quotes are given and then if the quote is accepted we offer a prompt service,’’ he said.

“BumperTech is used by a wide range of people, from those wanting to tidy up a car before selling it, to those who have been involved in a minor collision.

“Those who can’t afford a new car use us to touch up their current one.’’

Mr Cowan said all repairs from his team came with a five-year warranty.

“Our mobile service means you don’t have to be without a car,” he said.

“We also repair minor scrapes, scratches, paint and panel damage.”
