Sisters doing it for themselves

-

ANNETTE Sinclair, who runs an all-women Main Beach property agency, is expanding the business by high-heeling it along the street – into a former shoe shop.

The Main Beach Property Sales principal has bought the former Maryon’s Shoes premises, a stroll away from her sales office on the eastern side of Tedder Ave. The shop, a $950,000 buy, is to house an expanding MBPS property management business.

Annette says the expansion’s been ‘a work in progress’ for several months, one that’s resulted in the purchase of the Peter Currie Real Estate rent roll. The move triples the number of properties in the MBPS management portfolio and comes with a bonus – 30-year industry ‘veteran’ Dian Currie and daughter Linda have joined the Sinclair team.

Their presence lifts the number of women in the agency to nine.

“The all-women line-up hasn’t happened by design – just by chance,” says Annette. “That said, our clients like it.”
