Time to buy: It was a G8 idea

BOARD mem­bers of the Gold Coast’s largest listed com­pany have been on a share buy­ing spree, snap­ping up stock in child­care gi­ant G8 Ed­u­ca­tion.

G8 non-ex­ec­u­tive chair­man Mark Johnson picked up 10,000 ad­di­tional shares for $28,200, for a to­tal of 60,000.

Non-ex­ec­u­tive di­rec­tors Brian Bail­i­son (5000 more), Julie Ann Co­gin (2000) and David Foster (5000) all joined in the ex­er­cise, adding to their own port­fo­lios through re­lated en­ti­ties or par­ties. All four have filed no­tices with the ASX to up­date the mar­ket on their swelling G8 port­fo­lios.
