Trio equal in Byron event
DAVID Diaz, Russell Swanson and Tim Elliott are joint leaders following the opening round of the Australian Legends Tour Championship.
The trio recorded four-under 68 around the Byron Bay course to sit a shot ahead of Brad Burns and 2016 champion Steven Conran.
“It was nice to play some quality golf out there today,” Elliott said.
Elliott is looking to close the gap on order of merit leader Burns this weekend with only four events to go on the Ladbrokes PGA Legends Tour.
