Bringing it all back home

CAMERON Smith revisited his childhood yesterday at Wantima Country Club where the simple joy for golf was in every face smiling at the Australian PGA champ.

The course north of Brisbane is where Smith, as a kid, once placed sand buckets at 10m intervals on the practice fairway to hone his precise wedge game to different distances.

Smith has always imagined igniting dreams for a new generation at his home club and yesterday’s Cameron Smith Junior Classic did it wonderfully.
