Sea Eagle to face court
MANLY star Dylan Walker has been stood down from training after being charged with assault following an alleged domestic violence incident involving his partner on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
The woman, 24, sustained minor cuts to a shoulder, leg and feet at a Dee Why home on Thursday and was treated by paramedics at the scene.
Walker, 24, was later arrested and charged with common assault and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The former Australian Test centre was driven away from Manly Police Station by Sea Eagles coach Des Hasler after being granted bail to appear in court on Tuesday.
Manly chief executive Lyall Gorman said Walker won’t be training until after his court appearance.
