EXPANSION BID ON HOLD
OUR mail is that the NRL Women’s Premiership might not expand at all for 2019 despite the success of its debut season.
There have been calls to both lengthen the current three-round regular season and add new clubs to the four existing competitors – the Roosters, Dragons, Warriors and premiers Brisbane (pictured).
However, if what we’re hearing is on the money, neither of those options may eventuate just yet.
