You must be looking forward to this winter after moving from chilly Canberra to the Sunshine State. How are you finding the climate up here?

A

Moving up to the Coast, it’s a nice climate and a nice lifestyle but my partner and I haven’t been to the beach once on our own yet. It doesn’t really appeal to us but I love fishing so I’ll hopefully get a boat and use the ocean that way.

We’ve heard that you’ve been battling a groin issue through pre-season. How are the niggles coming along?

A

Yeah, I had a groin strain early in one of the first weeks. They have been really diligent with it and professional, just taking it easy and making sure it’s 100 per cent.

It’s really strong at the moment and I’m feeling quite fit and healthy so everything is looking pretty good.
