SCHOOL HOLIDAYS GUIDE

PLENTY OF FUN TO KEEP THE KIDS ENTERTAINED

- BRIANNA MORRIS-GRANT

IT’S rocking out without all the noise as HOTA gets ready for their new air guitar workshop these holidays.

The workshop, teaching kids all the great moves of rock ’n’ roll, is part of HOTA’s school holiday program, Kids Take Over.

Little rockstars can show up and decorate their own instrument at the Glam Your Guitar Artlab before joining the workshop and learning how to use it.

Headlined by urban circus 360 ALLSTARS and featuring a range of local artists, the program starts at air guitar and finishes up with graffiti art and hip hop.

HOTA chief executive Criena Gehrke said the program was a real chance for kids to step out of their comfort zone now that school was out.

“Kids Take Over is a real rock ’n’ roll mini-fest full of fun and interactive activities that will leave kids feeling creative and inspired,” she said. For the full list of school holiday events, visit hota.com.au/kids-take-over.
