Once again the Government and Police hierarchy sitting in their ivory towers are not listening to the officers at the coalface, re burnout at the DTACC. It would appear the senior officers who were once at the coalface themselves get a few shiny stars and then forget where they come from. They need to get out of the aircon and on the street with the frontline officers a couple of times every week, not just once for a photo shoot
Egads! Police officer stabbed in neck, stabber walks free? Acid thrown on police officers and perpetrater walks free? Are you kidding me? Boy oh boy! That’s why I moved interstate (after 23 years on Gold Coast). Just sayin’
True story and only just recently. Gorgeous, tiny little folk were asked by their teacher why Christmas was celebrated. Unanimous response: “It’s Santa’s birthday!” Absolutely priceless indeed for absolute sure! But no wonder though with “Santa” shoved down their throats wherever they turn their little heads! Do you think perhaps it’s time to educate and instil the true meaning of this time of year into our younger generation?
I took a bus to southport yesterday and later took the tram home. No contest ! Go the trams, all the way to Byron Bay, if i had my way. The ‘anti-everything’ mob won’t be happy until we are all back living in caves!
We dumped 7 when Mellisa got sacked but Karl came to work every day with a smile and you can’t help who you fall in love with. Most of us have been there. Robyn
All this talk of negative gearing really makes me giggle. I’ve had investment properties in postitive gearing mode for a number of years now and are much better off for it.
I won’t be watching 9 now Karl is gone! He was the only good one on the show! The man.
