Fire risk from aircon units

-

TWO types of outdoor airconditioner units have been recalled Australia-wide due to fire risk.

The Seeley International Braemar SCHF21C3S and Braemar SCHF25C3S, have been recalled by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission due to defects that could cause a fire.

The Victorian Country Fire Authority says people “may put their lives and the lives of the ones they love at risk” if they use the models, sold between October 14, 2016, and March 28 last year.

Consumers should stop using the airconditioner and call Seeley International on (08) 8328 3844 or productupgrade@seeleyinternational.com.
