What is the vision for Godolphin under your watch?

Sheik Mohammed is very keen on having elite racehorses. We want to breed and develop them and hopefully get a handful to retire to stud and have champion stallions. That would be the ultimate goal. We want to maintain our presence and profile within the Australian bloodstock scene. Godolphin has an aura about it and people who work for the Sheik are proud of representing the organisation.

Do have any direction involvement with the Sheik? Do you get any phone calls from him in the middle of the night where he wants to discuss his horses?
A
No. Outside of meetings I don’t liaise with him directly. We do that through his various confidants. I’m constantly on the phone or emailing those people. It’s very regular and it’s the same for all of those in similar positions from around the world. We compare notes and business plans.
