CHARITY WINS
THE connections won’t be the only benefactors of any prizemoney that comes in from Betaima’s success.
Two per cent of Cincotta’s prizemoney goes towards Pinchapoo, a charity that helps redistribute personal hygiene products to disadvantaged people around Australia.
A chance meeting with Pinchapoo ambassador Bruce Clark led to the partnership that will have even more cheering Betaima home in the big race today.
“The philosophy of Pinchapoo is something I agreed with from day one,” Cincotta said.
A Gold Coast surf lifesaving club will also be backing the young filly through their ownership.
“We donated 2.5 per cent to the Surfers Paradise Surf Life Saving Club at an auction,” Cincotta said.
