Burleigh Brewing has played a fundamental role in driving a whole new industry for the Coast that crosses sectors from manufacturing to hospitality and tourism. In recent years, the Gold Coast has become a shining light in the craft beer industry, with the number of breweries and venues that carry craft beer growing quickly. It is easy to forget that wasn’t always the case. Burleigh Brewing started in 2006 while the Gold Coast’s first craft beer bar, Bine, didn’t open until 2013. Peta is a natural leader and encourager, and her leadership skills are recognised in a variety of fields. From being on the Commonwealth Games Committee, Bond University Council, Chairperson of the Craft Beer Association and other worthy causes, Peta shines as an example to other women.
