Louise Bezzina is the CEO and Artistic Director of Bleach Festival and founded the festival in 2012. Bleach is the largest arts and cultural festival on the Gold Coast. Louise has produced and commissioned over 40 new sitespecific

works as part of Bleach. Louise’s passion and drive and commitment to seeing local artists cement themselves in the city was recognised when Bleach Festival won the Gold Coast’s first ever Helpmann Award in 2018 for Best Visual or Physical Theatre Production. Last year, Louise was named Brisbane Festival’s new artistic director. She will deliver her first festival in 2020.
