Cane toad bounty should be paid by the kilo. Who wants the dirty job of counting toads one by one! Bag ’em and weigh ‘em. Zodiac

and comments that don’t stack up. The Guardian article 24 April 2016 outlines the caged egg industry, it’s dangers to our health and it’s abuse to the animals involved. Caged chickens are genetically bred to grow twice as fast as average chickens, with numerous serious related health issues and are heavily medicated to treat their diseases, with widespread overuse of antibiotics, which are consumed by humans. To suggest that less fortunate families can only afford caged eggs is ignorant and disrespectful. Free range eggs are only a few dollars more, our health is not compromised and living beings are not abused. Come on, the world is progressing and so is farming! Lisa

John Mc, in the great scheme of things I suppose you have scientific proof that God created man. If so, how about you share the facts with the rest of the world. ZORBA

DJ Fraser needs to go back and read the rubbish he has written before he bags others who write more interesting letters than he does. How dare he criticise other Bulletin writers who entertain us with their talent. Betty, Mudgeeraba.

Hey Tappa ... good luck banning the ciggies on Burleigh hill brah! Just like drinking beer on the hill. Isn’t drinking in a public place illegal? Can’t have 2 rules champ.

Is the GC getting a bit lawless or lazy or both? The beach paths are a mess, with Mo Bikes dumped like garbage anywhere, and kids going flat out on scooters. Has a law been passed that I missed saying that specifically on the GC you don’t need a helmet, and no matter what age you are you can ride an electric scooter. I have never seen anything like it anywhere else in Australia. It used to be such a clean, tidy place.

Hey John Mc, God didn’t create man, we evolved, just like everything else on this planet.

Re ‘the homeless’. Here on Coast, an image stays with me recently of a lady with two young boys under 10, pushing a supermarket trolley filled with their life. Too late l followed to give cash, they’d disappeared. Very sad. Mary

Sick of hearing about young kids attacking young people for money. These kids are feral with feral parents living off government money. Government should stop their payments. Lee

David Hall have you ever considered open ing your other eye to see faults of your beloved Labor politicians ? Exocet.

10c for a cane toad? I can see some people breeding them. Johnbrew

Amazingly, the Brisbane Heat could have been on the verge of the top four after their woeful Big Bash start. If only Ben Cutting could catch. Tee hee
