Thought a “no junk mail” sign on letterbox was enough to deter pamphlet droppers! I know it’s their job, (extremely too lowly paid!) but sign is there for a very good reason. Same (dry) pamphlets appear in free papers or newspapers that we choose to buy, so why oh why do we still have to pick up & dispose of wet, soggy pulp off the verge every week when we’ve made it very clear - NO JUNK MAIL!?

IMO, the Red Cross has no “legal right” to hold back monies donated to help victims of the horrific bushfires which has been donated “To help victims now”! Had plumbing emergency Saturday – rang six companies or tradies who advertise 7 day service – only 2 replied one of whom said they don’t service Currumbin. The sixth plumber came within an hour – fixed the problem for reasonable price. What is wrong with you other companies? Making too much money? Remove your false claims please. Tony Currumbin
