Nine News ratings joy

9NEWS Gold Coast has claimed ratings victory for 2020 after taking an unassailable lead in its timeslot.

With 40 weeks in the official ratings calendar and only 18 to go, the TV news service has won 21 out of 22 to date.

9News Gold Coast averaged 240,000 viewers a week this year (up 5.1 per cent yearon-year commercial share).

Nine News Queensland’s director of news Amanda Paterson paid tribute to the 5.30pm bulletin, which is hosted by Bruce Paige and Eva Milic.
