Firm adds to exports

CARRARA-BASED Dairy Free Down Under is not letting COVID-19 stop its growth.

The vegan cheese manufacturer, started by Kevin and Jenny Flanagan, added Indonesia and Vietnam to its list of export markets, which includes Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Brunei, Malaysia and Singapore.

Mr Flanagan said the latest success was due to virtual “Meet the Buyer” events hosted by Food Innovation Australia Limited. “FIAL’s virtual Meet the Buyer has seen us continue to connect with new customers, despite travel restrictions,” he said.

The events provide exportready food and agribusinesses the opportunity to secure a one-to-one meeting with buyers from all around the globe.

FIAL general manager Rod Arenas said Australian products remained in demand.
