Injury blow for veteran

-

WESTERN Bulldogs veteran Matt Suckling faces up to six weeks on the sidelines with the hamstring injury he suffered in Wednesday night’s loss to Richmond.

Compounding the Bulldogs’ heavy loss to the Tigers, scans have confirmed Suckling suffered a “moderate grade” hamstring injury.

Bulldogs medical staff expect the injury to keep Suckling

out for between four to six weeks. “We’ll continue to assess Matt’s injury over the coming days, but expect him to miss the next four to six weeks,” Bulldogs’ medical services manager Chris Bell said.

In more positive news, star midfielder Josh Dunkley is in the frame for an earlier than expected return from an ankle injury against Post Adelaide on Monday night.
