RACE 5 – CLASS 1 HANDICAP (900m)

Bombay Rocket won her maiden this track and distance when resuming and had limited galloping room in the straight last start. Vogue Rock was also luckless in the straight when resuming last start and should use the good draw to her advantage. Deep State ran a solid second when resuming over 900m last preparation. Befana showed plenty of promise winning on debut.

RACE 6 – CLASS 3 HANDICAP (1800m)

Achieve Victory took a while to wind up here last start but was storming home late and had no luck the start before in town. Toucan Sam raced on the pace and still held down third place last start. Dropping 2kg is a bonus. Mood has run well at all three starts so far this preparation and out to 1800m looks ideal. Motamayiz is having his first run in Australia and is a must for inclusion in the exotics.

RACE 7 – CLASS 4 HANDICAP (1300m)

Euro Belle finished off well behind Jadentom in the Military Rose last start and is the one to beat if she runs here instead of Eagle Farm. Axe destroyed his rivals after being heavily backed last start and can go on with it. The Driller comes off a third-placing at Doomben last start and could well figure in the finish. El Phoenix will appreciate a firmer surface having finished second here.

RACE 8 – BM65 HANDICAP (1200m)

So You Shop was far from disgraced when chasing home Axe last start and can go one better here. The Lioness ran on well from near last on the turn to finish second last time out. Phionaix should find this easier than his first-up city assignment and is likely to push forward from the wide draw. Jubai Pride commences her second preparation here following a convincing win on debut over 900m.
