RACE 6 – Class 5 Handicap (1200m)
Derulo fought hard when resuming and was only narrowly beaten after getting caught wide in the run. This time he launches from the inside gate. Toujours L’Amour is on the quick back-up after getting cramped in the straight last week and rarely runs a bad race. Exactamente is first- up from a spell following a frontrunning trial win over 1000m. Fuji Flyer is the stablemate comes off a trial win.

RACE 7 – BM 60 Handicap (1650m)
Punctuality hit the line well when resuming over 1500m at Kilcoy and the four-kilo claim is a major plus. Get On Board won his only two starts in his first preparation and resumed with a solid third placing at Lismore. Princess Cavallo is on the quick back-up and drops steeply down from city grade. Sniperess has been edging closer to a win this preparation and should run well again.

RACE 8 – 3YO BM 62 Handicap (1400m)
Patty’s Fortune stuck-on well after leading last start. Drops in grade and is a winning chance with luck from the draw. Battle Through is having a consistent preparation and ran-on well to finish third at Rockhampton over 1300m last start. Rothshadow won easily on debut in a small field at Ipswich and could make the step up. Mishani Appeal will find this easier than her last run at Eagle Farm.

RACE 9 – Class 1 Handicap (1300m)
Sailing hit the line strongly after over-racing when third at Eagle Farm last start. Look for her late. Menindee has the speed to lead and was far from disgraced running second at Eagle Farm last time out. Ready For Magic was backed off the boards but could only manage second place last start at Toowoomba and is worth another chance. Alatar won his maiden at Ipswich despite covering ground and could go on with it here.
