If Springbrook is upset at all the cars that park there, then maybe they should get behind the cableway so visitors leave there cars at the base of the mountain. Visitors by cableway will arrive without cars. Hallelujah

Derek. Many people are unable to experience the hinterland through walking etc because of disabilities. And isn’t it better to fly people over the rainforest rather than have them tramping through it? I am no greenie but I do believe in sensible preservation of the natural world.

Re: Nicole Jane and Facebook Big Issue. Nicole, I am not a teacher though I am a parent and you are miles off the mark! So many of these problems can be and should be sorted by good parenting before they get to school and during their school lives and beyond. Respect and care for others starts with the parents. Blaming teachers is a cop- out! Always someone else’s fault? Rad3

Laza, why would some out of work people consider going into the workforce when living a good life on the handouts! I agree with your article, but we have become a country of “hand outs.” Pretty sad & COVID not helping the situation. Pud

Hey Reg, put on the old pair of steel cap boots, when the dog is in range lick it under the jaw as hard as you can, no more teeth. Works for me. Belter

Hey GCB ... the article re: new theme park rides, I have always been of the understanding that Wet ‘n’ Wild is located in Oxenford, not Coomera. That would be there opposition down the road. BB, Arundel

A brilliant and insightful piece from Alan Jones in the GCB. And I’d like to add this to what he said. Overcrowding leads to frustration, which leads to anger, which leads to violence, which

leads to anarchy and the break down of an orderly society. I fear this is where Australia is rapidly heading. Just too many people here, and in fact, the world. Goldy Oldy

The real fear of most anti-vaccers is getting the big, bad needle poked into their arm. These wusses are a threat to the rest of us.

Rarely agree with anything that comes out of Ray Hadley’s mouth but his KO of Anthony Mundine’s nonsensical vax comments needed to be said. Wantok

To hospitality bosses who say they can’t get staff. Pay better wages employ some older people who are desperate to work but are discriminated against because of their age. You might be surprised what good, loyal and reliable employees older people are. Very few sickies after partying and far less drama.

Tony Cavuoto, Your Views 14/5. You lefties love a good scary scenario or two. “Our children will inherit a country ravaged by bushfires & floods”? My

great’ great grandparents’ children also inherited the same great country with bushfires & flooding rains. No scarmongering brainwashed lefties around then! Struth

Hey mad rooster, wouldn’t your ad make you a chauvinist, or a sexist if anything ... not racist! SMG

It’s a sad sign for domestic violence in Australia when Labor intends to allocate millions towards housing facilities as they see an increase in this crisis. Doug

Those footbrawlers if found guilty of bashing another spectator should be thrown out of the country. Peter

Nicola Jane, don’t whinge about teachers, become one and improve the system. Ron, R/Bay

You’ve got more bloody lives than a cat Mann! Hahaha! Love your work! JoB

All this comparison of HOTA with the Eieffel tower? Get real!
