Breast care clinic open

A NEW permanent Breast-Screen Queensland clinic has opened at Robina Town Centre.

Located on Level 1 Arbour Lane, 19-33 Robina Town Centre Drive, it is hoped the clinic will screen 4000 women in its first year.

The mobile breast screen service previously located in Robina is now being used to service other parts of the Gold Coast.

Screening every two years is recommended for women aged between 50 and 74 where the evidence of benefit is strongest. Women can attend this free service from the age of 40.
