Gold Coast Wonder Women charity lunch at The Island Penthouse, Surfers Paradise

THE secret to a good charity – almost all-female – lunch would appear to be simple. The Gold Coast Wonder Women event held in The Penthouse function area at The Island certainly has worked out the formula. Everyone gets dressed to the nines, the shriek juice flows from the starter’s whistle, and a lot of money is raised for the Gold Coast Community Fund. Add in a filled-to-overflowing goodie bag, dancing and a conga line and it’s no wonder some of the participants were still partying on as the sun set. Fun and then some.
