FREE SPIRIT STRIPPED FLAIR

MARGARET Dupré, the super cute surf siren standing behind local dignitaries Peter White MP and Sir Jack Egerton (both now deceased), was one of those rare people.

Once seen, she was never forgotten. It was probably because of her itsy bitsy bikinis and killer figure, but mainly because she was such a free spirit and was seen here, there and everywhere around town with her three children in tow.

The story of her life has been turned into a short film, Stripped, by her daughter India. It tells of Margaret’s struggles to keep her three children and the various ways she did to maintain her family.

She is at present living in Hawaii, painting and celebrated a birthday this week.
