Ex-boxer punches woman

A MAN who was paid thousands of dollars to inflict punishment in the boxing ring, taking his talents across the globe, has pleaded to punching a woman in the head.

About a month later, he shared intimate shower pictures of the woman in an act of revenge porn.

Former boxer Renold Quinlan, 32, rose to fame with a knockout win over Daniel Geale in 2016, has pleaded guilty to striking a woman he was previously in a relationship with in frightening scenes in south west Sydney.

Following a relationship breakdown which saw Quinlan (pictured) staying at a refuge, the boxer arrived unannounced at the victim’s Campbelltown home in August last year.

Court documents state a war of words erupted in which an angry Quinlan made allegations of infidelity.

When the woman went to her car to leave, the professional boxer rushed over and punched her in the head causing her to drop to the ground.

In a Sydney court on Friday, the 32-year-old had his sentence adjourned for two weeks so a psychological report could be completed. .
