An Olympic debutant who used the agony of just missing selection for the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games team to improve. Hodges’ best 100m breaststroke time of 1:05.99 is up there with the best from around the world this year and while US star Lilly King will set the pace, Hodges could get on the podium.
