Chance for Dogs to finally have day

-

SUNDAY, 4.05PM

It’s been a lean year for the Bulldogs, but this is the sort of game they must win if they want to avoid the wooden spoon. They’re coming off a couple of competitive losses to the Roosters and Rabbitohs, and they’ve got a good week off the field with Phil Gould and Tevita Pangai set to join the club next season. Throw in the fact they’ve already beaten Cronulla this year and suddenly the upset doesn’t look so ludicrous. The Sharks were poor against Canberra last week and must chalk up a big win if they are serious about playing finals.
