The Valley: Emerging galloper I’m Thunderstruck showcased his talent with an impressive four-length win at Flemington, his third from five starts. This time he’ll have to perform at the tighter The Valley circuit, with trainers Mick Price and Michael Kent Jr opting for one more run against the three-year-olds in the final city meeting of the season on Saturday before the gelding turns four the next day on August 1. His spring target is the $7.5m Golden Eagle in October. Tuvalu is rated the main danger but was no match for I’m Thunderstruck last time.
