FIND YOUR CONTENT, FAST

Staying informed on what’s happening in your suburb, the Gold Coast and Queensland is important - but finding what is immediately revelant to you among the tsunami of daily content can be difficult.

And while it’s important to stay across the biggest news of the day, the question “what is news?” has a different answer depending on personal preferences and locations.

We get that - and we’ve done something significant about it by investing in revolutionary new technology to change the way you receive the news.

Introducing My News Feed, a new feature that directly delivers more relevant stories to subscribers of goldcoastbulletin.com.au based on what topics and journalists the user chooses to “follow”, and also where you live.

You’ll now notice Follow buttons appearing next to journalist names and on stories, across the website and mobile site.

Allowing you to become the editor of your own feed, the new Follow option gives you the power to customise My News Feed to stay across the latest news from your area or from the topics and journalists you are most interested in.

Following immediately puts that topic or journalist into your news feed, and syncs it across all your devices.

And you can also punch in your postcode to have news delivered straight to your home page from the area in which you live, under the new section “My Local”.

Following a broad range section - such as Sport - will surface stories from across our extensive news network.

But by drilling deeper you can follow a sub-section such as the Titans or Suns to receive content targeted to those teams.

I hope you enjoy the more personalised experience.
