A BRISBANE man blew almost four times the legal alcohol limit after his ute crashed through the fence of a home.

The Holden Rodeo “almost went into the pool” at the Burrendong Rd, Coombabah home about 10.50pm on Thursday, a Gold Coast police spokeswoman said.

“It is alleged the driver returned a breath test of 0.194 which is almost four times the limit,” she said.

Police charged a 35-year-old Carina man with driving under the influence of liquor and unlicensed driving.

He was expected to face Southport Magistrates Court on November 4.
