TITANS EXTEND YOUNG PLAYMAKER TO END OF 2024

-

GOLD Coast product Tanah Boyd has signed a two-year extension with the Titans, keeping him at the club until the end of 2024.

Boyd, 21, was already contracted to the Titans to the end of 2022 but put pen to paper on the extension, the club announced on Friday.

Able to play both half and hooker, the Keebra Park State High School product and former Australian Schoolboys representative is another talented local prospect the Titans were eager to keep on the Gold Coast. “I’m stoked to be here for the next three years and it is exciting times at the club,” Boyd said. “We’ve got a good young squad here and I’m thrilled.”

Boyd played six games in the No. 6 in 2021, for a total of 21 appearances over three seasons in the blue and gold. “Tanah is a fantastic young player and someone who works incredibly hard on his game,” Titans coach Justin Holbrook said.

“Tanah has had a taste of NRL action over the last few seasons … and we’re confident he will continue to improve his game.”
