HOTA WELL WORTH A VISIT

SINCE opening last year the HOTA Art Gallery has been earning rave reviews – and rightly so.

Perusing the artworks on display across its four levels of exhibition space is a rewarding and enjoyable experience, while the view from the fifthfloor Exhibitionist Bar is breathtaking.

Particularly impressive is the space given to celebrating Gold Coast art and artists.

The Bulletin today takes a lighthearted look at some of the exhibits. Not everyone will agree with our cheeky interpretations – but that is part of the joy of art, which invites us to ponder the world around us, to see it, question it and enjoy it in a myriad different ways.

There are many more wonderful works of art at HOTA that also deserve your time and attention.

Some you will like, some you won’t. But we guarantee there are stunning pieces that will stop you in your tracks.

Even the gallery building itself is something of a marvel which is well worth seeing.
