The Kings are hoping that last week’s fourth-quarter rally against the Bullets is the kickstart they need to get their season going. Late fadeouts have hurt them lately, but the form of Xavier Cooks, Jaylen Adams and Jarell Martin must be encouraging. They now face a Perth side that is near the top of the ladder, but lacking game fitness thanks to Covid-19. The Wildcats looked rusty in their first game back but then pumped the Hawks, and their team culture and big-game players won’t use excuses against their rivals.
