EVERYDAY Aussies have been given an insight into the right cryptocurrency exchange for them through Finder’s inaugural cryptocurrency exchange awards.
Ownership is on the rise in Australia, with almost one in four adults owning cryptocurrency in January, up from 20 per cent in October and 17 per cent in September, according to a nationally representative sample of 1000 Australian adults.
Across six categories, Binance won three awards, including Exchange for Features and Exchange for Altcoins as well as foraustralian Cryptocurrency Exchange (Overall).
Crypto.com won the category Exchange for Beginners, while Kraken won Exchange for Trading. The award for Exchange for Valuewent to Digital Surge, with Coinjar and Crypto.com a close second.
“Finder’s first-ever cryptocurrency awards were launched to celebrate companies that offer Australians the very best cryptocurrency products,” Finder head of consumer research Graham Cooke said.
According to conservative estimates, Australians have spent more than $50.9m in fees trading crypto thus far.
