HOSPITALS IMPROVE SURVEY RANKINGS

GOLD Coast University Hospital (GCUH) has been ranked the seventh best hospital in the country, and among the top 250 in the world.

Robina Hospital also made the cut of the country’s best in Newsweek World’s Best

Hospitals survey, coming in at 42nd.

In 2021, GCUH was ranked eighth and Robina 50th.

Gold Coast Health CEO Ron Calvert said: “It’s been another big year with the ongoing pandemic response and vaccination rollout, yet our dedicated teams have not missed a step. (They’re) delivering emergency and trauma treatment, elective surgeries, community-based services and a lot more, to a community of more than 630,000 people. Every member of our 12,000strong workforce makes an important contribution.”
