-

APART from his many friends in the world of cricket, Shane Warne was a magnet for those from the entertainment world as well.

Two of them shared their thoughts on the King of Spin away from the pitch. Dancer, producer Bonnie Lythgoe spent time with Shane in the jungle on I’m A Celebrity … in 2016 and spoke warmly of her time with him.

“He apologised all night while we were all celebrating at Crown. The party was in full swing and at 1am he had a look around the room and came over to me. ‘Mate, your bride is upstairs. Time to call it a night and get out of here’.

“That was him to a tee – always thinking of others and steering them in the right direction. One of the best
