Aussies looking for Devine intervention
SUNDAY 8AM
Australia can just about wrap up a spot in the semis if it can beat New Zealand in the 50-over Women’s World Cup. After wins against England and Pakistan, the Aussies look to be coasting with their batters in fine form. Everyone pitched in against Pakistan, while Rachael Haynes was the hero in the first game. Taking on the hosts in New Zealand is never easy, something the Aussies found out in a practice game when Sophie Devine smashed them to all parts with one of the all-time great centuries. She’ll be the key wicket on Sunday.
