LIZ LOOKING FORWARD TO WINTOUR CLIFT-HANGER

LOCAL fashion femme Liz Clift has always been colourful character, but now you can also colour her excited.

The reason for the off-the-charts glee is because on Monday week she is confirmed to meet Anna Wintour of US Vogue fame in New York.

“For me this is as big as meeting the Queen,” said Liz. “It came about because of my association with global entrepreneur JT Foxx. He knows my fashion journey and loved how I was often backstage at his conventions talking to, mentoring and encouraging young designers.

“He is a great one for helping others. He has a scheduled meeting with Anna and knew it was a dream of mine but had to get my attendance to go with him approved first.

“The confirmation has just come through, however, I’m still pinching myself and hoping nothing goes wrong to upset the plans. Anna is on the Council of Fashion Designers America and I am on the Queensland Fashion Council, so hopefully she can give me an insight or advice for the local industry.”

We wonder if Liz will involuntarily curtsy.
