REMEMBER WHEN
HIS bikie club shunned him, and Jacques Teamo’s own family seemingly cast him aside.
The former Bandido was evicted from a Varsity Lakes home in dramatic circumstances amid an escalating feud over his mother’s will.
Teamo was left out of his late mother’s will and the executors of the estate evicted him from his home of several years, which was owned by family members.
It came after Teamo was thrown out of the Bandidos over his alleged ringleader role in a riot at Broadbeach in 2013, which resulted in an unprecedented government crackdown on bikies.
Police descended on the Watts Dr home after being contacted by the executors of his mother’s estate for assistance in removing him.
Teamo emerged wearing a Guy Fawkes mask, although police said he left without protest.
His lawyer, Daniel Hannay, confirmed the incident was in relation to a property dispute.
“It was a property dispute over the will in relation to his mum,” Mr Hannay said.
Neighbours said they heard
yelling at the home regularly, but the first they knew of an incident unfolding was when about 10 police arrived between 10am and 11am.
Witnesses said police took three people, while Teamo left separately with two unidentified men who were not believed to be police officers.
Nearby business owner Jean Griffith said there was “always a commotion” at the household: “It’s distressing when the street is full of cops with guns and stuff.”
