It took three weeks, but the Roosters finally reminded everyone why they were tipped to be Brisbane’s biggest threat for the title this year. Superstar centres Jess Sergis and Isabelle Kelly both scored, and the form of Olivia Kernick continued as she crossed for the third game in a row. But they can’t slow down because they play the Eels, who are two from three in their first season and playing with plenty of confidence. Halfback Maddie Studdon has plenty of space thanks to her forwards, and that’s leading to a lot of points for the backs.
