New buzz at Honeyworld

-

AN old-school Gold Coast attraction is about to become a hive of activity after a sweet $62,133 injection.

Currumbin’s Honeyworld will spend the bread – courtesy of the Black Summer Bushfire Recovery Grants program – on a makeover and marketing campaign to tempt tourists.

National Trust Queensland CEO Jayme Cuttriss said Honeyworld was home to millions of bees and the upgrades were designed to make the free attraction more educational with an emphasis on sustainability.

“This funding will help Honeyworld to thrive into the future, with entry to also remain free to the public,” Ms Cuttriss said.
