Murphy on Health Board

A FORMER CEO of the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation has been named as the latest member of the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service Board.

Karen Murphy is the newest member of the 10-person team, which was reappointed for another four-year term on Friday.

Ms Murphy was CEO of the RCHF from 2001-6, Australian Organ and Tissue Authority CEO from 2008-10, and also lead multiple not-for-profits, medical foundations and law firms. The new board will come into effect on April 1.
