MUSIC OPENS UP WORLD TO STAN

- KAITLYN SMITH

A GOLD Coast Tiktok sensation living with Down syndrome is setting his sights on global stardom thanks to his budding musical talents.

Coomera NDIS participant Stanley Rosenberg, also known as The Famous Stanley, has more than 122,000 Tiktok followers and millions of views on his Youtube channel – but that’s not enough.

The 35-year-old wants to be like former Australian Idol winner and chart-topper Guy Sebastian, and is often spotted honing his craft on the streets of Tamborine Mountain.

“With singing, I want to be a people’s favourite,” he told the Bulletin.

“I love to entertain people. I dance, sing and perform. It’s just part of my life. It makes me really happy.”

Most recently, Mr Rosenberg struck up a deal with Westfield Helensvale to make his live concert debut.

A date is yet to be confirmed.

NDIS funding meant Mr Rosenberg could afford lessons in video editing and production skills, such as how to use a green screen and how to interview people.

More than 102,000 Queenslanders have been provided NDIS support.

Support worker Alyson said Mr Rosenberg was “full of zest and passion”.

His dad Stan reflected on the moment he realised his son’s talent – when he was gifted a piano organ at a local market.

“Stanley sat on a bench to play it while I continued to walk around,” he said.

“When I got back, there he was playing his piano organ. His hat was upside down next to him, full of money and some had even bought him a hot dog,” he laughed.
