What time do you wake up on a Saturday?

I love a sleep-in, even on a two-show day, so I often find myself waking up around 9.3010am on a Saturday.

Local coffee haunt?

On the Gold Coast my favourite place for a coffee is at Custard Canteen on Tallebudgera Creek beach – it has good coffee and a beautiful view of Burleigh Hill!

Best spot for date night?

If we are in Brisbane, my partner Zane and I love going to Eat Street Northshore. Zane also performs there with local band Geed Up, so I get to watch some great entertainment with tons of choices for dinner and dessert!

Favourite takeaway?

It would have to be Okuman Karaage & Ramen Bar in West End. So many options and all so fresh!

Favourite spot to catch up with friends?

I don’t really go to pubs or bars. But Zane and I love going to Balboa Italian on the Gold Coast and often catch up with friends there.

Best thing about your neighbourhood?

The best part about my local neighbourhood on the Gold Coast is the mix of hinterland and the beaches. It’s like being on a holiday in your own back yard. In Brisbane, apart from the theatre, of course, I love spending time at South Bank with the night-life and restaurants.

Where and when do you exercise?

I have quite a physical role in Frozen so I find when I do exercise outside of work I love going for long beach walks – good for the body and the mind. Being home means I can walk my family dog, so I have been walking around the local park with him on my days off.

Best hidden treasure in Queensland?

I love going for walks in Springbrook National Park – I love seeing the waterfalls and also the glow worm cave at night time.

Favourite place to holiday in Queensland?

I love going to the Sunshine Coast for a getaway. It’s so refreshing to visit, and I just love the beaches at Noosa.

What’s your idea of the perfect Saturday?

A perfect Saturday for me would start with brunch, of course, followed by a swim in the ocean (anywhere, there are so many options in Queensland). Then a paddle board followed by fish and chips on the beach. Maybe a little bit of shopping and, to finish it off, a nice dinner and wine with loved ones and some good music.
