ISIS bombs murder 16
KABUL: At least 16 people were killed in bomb blasts claimed by the ISIS terror group in two Afghan cities.
Since Taliban fighters seized control of Afghanistan last year, the number of bombings has fallen but the jihadist and Sunni ISIS has continued with attacks, often against Shiite targets.
This time, 12 worshippers were killed at a Shiite mosque in the city of Mazar-i-sharif. In a separate blast in Kunduz, at least four people were killed and 18 others wounded.
“Blood and fear are everywhere,” a public health spokesman said.
